![]() Without learning more about the respective weapon skills and investing points in them, you cannot effectively progress your character, obviously.įor example, when you gain levels in the respective skill regarding one-handed swordplay, the number of attacks you can combine into a combo increases. It’s a balance between power and defence, and there’s a variety of moves to execute. My character is one that wields a one-handed sword and a shield. Instead, you can plan and customize your character freely. But you are not limited to one of these classes at any given moment. There are three classes, so to speak: one where you can use one-handed weapons and shields, one in which you use two-handed heavy weapons, and a mage class where you utilize a staff and other magic. It’s a very interesting system that may not be comparable to hack ‘n slash games by today’s standards, but it still offers a great level of depth. But if you have any doubts about the survivability of wolves, 3 wolves survived Hades x3 in legendary.Disclosure: We may earn a commission from links on this page The combatįirst and foremost, I want to talk about the combat of Risen. ![]() I can't give you an exact number in each stat, because that really depends on which gear you use, and how much stat bonuses you get from said gear.įYI, this is the strongest pet build (probably the strongest build in TQ:AE), but you need pretty solid gear. I'd say don't worry about it and use TQ defiler to re-assign your stat points if you place them incorrectly. Or possibly some sorta split between all 3 stats. If you want armor + shield + 1h, then you're gonna need STR & DEX mostly. Don't waste more than 1 point on the Nymph.Ģ - Pets damage/stats don't scale from any particular stat, so stats are placed exclusively depending on what type of gear you want to use on your pet build. Liche King pet is the tankiest pet in the game with Wraith Shell. Wolves need survival instinct (skill) to survive at higher difficulties. Ursprünglich geschrieben von Kammyh:Thank you very much for your answer, crimsonedge.ġ - The pets can survive well in the legendary? My fear is do this build and then the pets die from one hit from bosses/enemies.Ģ - Where do I put Attribute Points? Int, Dex, Str?ġ - Pets can survive pretty well in Legendary. ![]() Lots of shields give massive bonuses to DA. You need enough DA to at least not be critted, and if a shield gets you there, then use one. If you're seeing red numbers for lots of damage flying across the screen, that's because your DA is too low. For defensive ability, you want around 1000 DA, minimum in Legendary. Just gear up for resists vs the enemies in the area you're in. So you can be pretty tanky for a non-defensive build if you want to be. You get a massive HP boost from heart of the oak, and a heal. You don't actually need to hit stuff with your weapon (unless it's a sapros the corrupter), just tank up and put deathchill aura effect on enemies + plague and let your pets do the heavy lifting. It's my opinion that sword & board soothsayer is the best kinda soothsayer, anyway. The only thing you give up by using a staff over 1h + shield is that staves can roll pet bonuses, but if you're getting instagibbed, pet bonuses aren't really helping any. If you're having survivability problems, you can always use a 1h + shield instead of a staff to get some extra defenses and resists from the shield slot. ![]() Something like a soothsayer (Spirit + Nature) is a good class for a new player. ![]()
